What Diabetic Supplies Can You Sell for Cash?

CGM sensor and meter boxes we buy: FreeStyle Libre, Dexcom G6 and G7, Accu-Chek, True Metrix and Contour Next

The short answer

You can sell sealed, in-date test strips, CGM sensors (Dexcom G6, G7 and Stelo; FreeStyle Libre 2 and 3; Medtronic Guardian), insulin pump supplies (Omnipod pods, infusion sets, reservoirs, cartridges), boxed glucose meters, lancets, and unopened pen needles and syringes. The two things that matter are that the box is new and sealed, and that the expiration date has not passed.

Ranked by what it is actually worth

  1. Omnipod pods. The highest total value we handle — a sealed multi-pack outweighs a stack of strip boxes.
  2. Dexcom sensors. G7 and G6, sealed three-packs especially. Transmitters and receivers also sell.
  3. FreeStyle Libre sensors. Libre 3 above Libre 2 above the 14-day.
  4. Pump supplies. Medtronic and Tandem infusion sets, reservoirs and cartridges.
  5. Name-brand test strips. OneTouch, Accu-Chek, FreeStyle Lite, Contour Next.
  6. Store-brand strips. True Metrix, ReliOn, Embrace, Prodigy — worth a fraction of name brands.
  7. Lancets, pen needles, syringes. Low individually, worthwhile in volume or bundled.
  8. Boxed meters. Sealed and boxed only; a loose used meter is worth nothing.

What has no resale value at all

  • Anything opened, even if the contents look untouched.
  • Anything expired.
  • Loose used meters, control solutions on their own, carrying cases.
