Infusion sets and reservoirs ship on ninety-day cycles, so anyone who changes pumps, changes insurers or stops pumping altogether tends to be left with a substantial box of unused supplies.

How to identify what you have
Two things set the price: what is printed on the front of the box — the exact product name and the strip or unit count — and the expiration date. Medtronic packaging changes between product generations, so the product name matters — Medtronic infusion sets (Quick-set / Mio) and Medtronic Guardian transmitter are not interchangeable and do not pay the same. Send us a picture of the front of the box and the expiration date and we will tell you exactly what you have before you commit to anything. Several boxes can go in one picture — lay them out and take one photo of the lot.
What we check on every Medtronic box
- New and sealed — factory seal unbroken
- Still in date — the more time left, the more it is worth
Storage matters more than people expect
Medtronic products are chemically sensitive. A carton that spent an August afternoon in a car in Georgia is not sellable and should not be — a degraded strip or sensor gives a false reading to whoever uses it next, and someone doses insulin off that number. We ask every seller where the boxes were kept, and it is not a formality. How to store them properly →
